The trip to western Yunnan organized by the company this summer was a very unforgettable experience.
On the first day of arriving in Mangshi, I was cured by the Menghuan Golden Pagoda and Buddhist Temple. This southern Buddhist holy land is magnificent, and the adjacent silver pagoda is as pure as moonlight, with a peaceful atmosphere in the air.
The next morning, we visited the Mengbana West Treasure Garden to watch peacocks bloom, admire exotic flowers and trees, and then drove for 2 hours to Ruili to appreciate the natural miracle of "trees alone forming a forest" and the border trade scene at the border.
The spectacle of 'One Village, Two Countries' on the third day was even more astonishing - a Dai village was divided by the national border, and China's swing may have landed on the land of Myanmar. Standing in front of boundary marker 71, taking a photo, your one foot is in China, and your other foot has stepped into a foreign country.
The most surprising thing is Tengchong, a hot spring ancient town. The grandeur of Longjiang Bridge, the solemnity of Guoshang Cemetery, and the antique charm of Heshun Ancient Town form the diverse faces of Tengchong. The combination of volcanic heat and blue sky and white clouds feels like entering a natural laboratory on Earth. Staying at a hot spring hotel at night allows the mineral rich spring water to wash away fatigue. The grass raft floating island in Beihai Wetland and the original ecological song and dance of Simola Wa Village showcase the amazing craftsmanship of nature and the survival wisdom of ethnic minorities.
Of course, the food and fruits here are also unforgettable.
